As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control in Franklin, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Assist with security-related procedures and protocols to help maintain a secure environment in the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering guidance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations and incidents in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
