As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer at a vibrant retail and mall location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post offers you the opportunity to interact with the public while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting visitors and employees as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
