Unarmed Security Officers

to join our team, providing security services at grocery store locations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a calm demeanor, and experience in loss prevention. Responsibilities

:



Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure the safety of employees and customers. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with store patrons. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols. Monitor entrances, exits, and store premises for suspicious activity. Document incidents and complete reports as necessary. Communicate effectively with store management and law enforcement if required.

Requirements

:

Customer service skills

: Ability to interact positively with store patrons and employees.

Calm demeanor

: Maintain composure in high-stress or emergency situations.

Loss prevention experience

: Prior experience in loss prevention or related security roles.

CPR certification

: Must hold a current CPR certification.

Guard Card

: Valid California Guard Card required.

Reliable transportation

: Must have a dependable means of getting to and from work.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred Valid registration as a security officer High school diploma/GED Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability Ability to operate surveillance equipment High level of integrity and professionalism Attention to detail and strong observational skills Ability to work without direct supervision
