As a Security Officer - Logistics Site Patrol in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will remain highly visible, interact through excellent customer service, and use communication skills to address any concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and observe activities to identify any unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while on patrol.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
