As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener Patrol in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills will support a positive experience for everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures to support the secure operation of the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
