As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener - Full Time in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in access control, screening individuals, and supporting a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location according to established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
