As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Unarmed in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
