As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Full-Time in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular patrols and a strong visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting access control and communication needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support overall security-related objectives at the logistics and distribution site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
