As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication will contribute to a secure environment, while your focus on providing outstanding customer service supports a positive atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the logistics and distribution location, covering both the interior and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities and/or conditions during patrols to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas as required.
• Support the implementation of client-specific security-related protocols and emergency response activities.
• Document and communicate all security-related incidents and observations in a timely and accurate manner according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
