What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during assigned shifts.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment tailored to logistics and distribution operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
