As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Patrol in Fairless Hills, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in supporting a reliable and agile team that values integrity and puts people first. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks, adapting to the working environment as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
