As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Gate in Hardeeville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and complete routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and professionalism will support a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to support site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to support security-related procedures.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents according to site guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience working at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
