As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Newville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for personnel and assets. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Assist with security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with access questions and directions as needed.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
