As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Lewisberry, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure atmosphere for all employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Assist with visitor and vehicle management procedures to help maintain authorized access.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports and incident logs.
• Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols during drills or real events.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
