What You'll Do:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with site-specific procedures and directions.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for security-related concerns and report irregularities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
