As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Franklin, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a positive environment, and offering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response protocols when required.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while upholding site-specific security-related standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to address and report any security-related concerns or potential risks at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
