As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following established Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific security-related policies and procedures as directed by management.
• Respond promptly to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Support emergency response activities according to Allied Universal and client site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
