We are currently seeking motivated Level 2 Security Officers to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of various buildings, grounds, and work areas. As part of our proactive security team, you will play a key role in patrolling assigned locations and ensuring the well-being of our clients' properties and personnel. This opportunity is for potential contracts, requiring candidates to be prepared to deploy their skills and experience in various settings on short notice.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide unarmed security services to protect clients, personnel, and property. Conduct regular patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and work areas to detect and prevent security breaches. Safeguard properties from theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents within the premises. Ensure all security measures meet or exceed international security standards. Report and document security statuses, incidents, and breaches in a timely and accurate manner. Work closely with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. Provide a visible security presence to deter potential threats and reassure clients and their employees. Operate and maintain security equipment and technology to enhance effectiveness. Escort individuals and vehicles as required. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.

Applicant Requirements / Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must possess a valid unarmed security guard license or be able to obtain one. Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding security operations. Veterans are strongly preferred. Proficient in both written and oral communication skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high stress situations. Strong attention to detail and observation skills Experience with CCTV surveillance systems. First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred. Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.

Compensation:

Rate of pay: $18-$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
