Security Officer

Las Vegas / Nellis AFB

This position REQUIRES possession of a NV state issued Guard Card and a secret clearance.

Part-time variable hours available

Shift:

0800-1600

Position Overview:

The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at designated client sites. This role involves patrolling, monitoring, access control, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to legal, safety, and company standards. The officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and safety hazards, ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets. While ensuring that all Condor Security of America, Inc. policies and standard operating procedures are followed.

Minimum Qualifications for Armed Security Officers:

? Must possess and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law

? Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent

? Security clearance: Secret (required)

? 1 year entry control experience

? Knowledgeable in general security industry standards and methods

? If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities for Security Officers:

? Conduct foot patrols indoor/outdoors

? Utilize our tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties

? Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed

? Collaboration with local law enforcement or other agencies when necessary

? Maintain visitor and employee access logs

? Maintain a professional appearance

Physical functions and working environment:

Frequent extended sitting, standing and walking

Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders

Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling

Frequent reaching and grasping

Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds

Occasional running

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing the required background check.
