Job Description

The Security Officer's primary responsibilities involve strictly managing and maintaining access control at all facility entry points during the second shift. This duty requires the officer to diligently verify the identity and authorization of all individuals--employees, visitors, and vendors--before accurately issuing and tracking all necessary access credentials and badges. A crucial component of this role is conducting continuous surveillance of the designated parking lot area, which ensures vehicle safety, addresses unauthorized parking, and maintains overall exterior security. Finally, the officer is responsible for meticulous administrative tasks, which includes accurately generating and filing all required paperwork, such as comprehensive daily activity reports, detailed incident summaries, and precise visitor entry/exit logs for record-keeping and audit purposes.

This is Part-Time 2nd shift position, working the hours 1pm to 9pm.
