What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols to help maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related breaches to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions or information while maintaining a professional presence on site.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and healthcare personnel to support a secure environment.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be able to work in hospital environments, including areas such as the morgue, and be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Must comply with all hospital vaccination requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
