As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with onsite staff, visitors, and emergency personnel.
• Complete required documentation and/or incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
