As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for all. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches in hospital protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by the location's policies.
• Support emergency response activities and assist first responders when necessary, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
