As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Team in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will perform routine patrols, respond promptly to situations, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
