As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. By conducting routine patrols and assisting with access control, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of everyone at the location. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the healthcare facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter disruptions and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
