As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Saint Augustine, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent healthcare location. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact with staff, visitors, and patients while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and you will act as a reliable point of contact for security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behaviors, hazards, or incidents as per Allied Universal protocols.
• Interact with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and information regarding security-related matters.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns specific to the location.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
