As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Sat 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and create a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities, documenting details according to company and client requirements.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to guide individuals as appropriate within the healthcare environment.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and local authorities when necessary to support a secure and orderly location.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing circumstances, adapting patrol activities and responses to the specific needs of the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
