As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will interact with individuals throughout the facility, support access control, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or hazards found during patrols or while on post.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support a positive environment for patients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
