What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk within a healthcare location.
• Monitor access control by verifying identification and signing in visitors and vendors, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related events at the front desk.
• Support emergency response activities as required and direct individuals appropriately during such events.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals entering or exiting the location, providing directions and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
