What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals entering or leaving the healthcare facility by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit from the location.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Document and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents observed while stationed at the front desk.
• Collaborate with healthcare facility staff during emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
