As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrol in Arcadia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help discourage potential security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support site security-related protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
