What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when addressing incidents and critical situations within the healthcare facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter inappropriate activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor movement within the healthcare facility.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to those at the location.
• Support emergency response protocols and assist with evacuation procedures as directed by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
