As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, including coordinating with medical staff and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and interactions during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required as mandated by state and/or local regulations.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
