What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to all individuals on site by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential security-related issues and respond appropriately.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
