As a Security Officer -- Government Site Patrol - Full Time in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal supporting a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for those on-site. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual situations.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
