Job Description

ONE Security Company (OSC) is expanding our operations and conducting immediate interviews to fill open, full-time Security Professional positions in Salem, Oregon.

JOB DETAILS:

- Consistent work schedule

- Work schedule is overnights: 6p-6a (12 hour shifts; 3 days on-shift and 4 days off-shift)

- Pay schedule is every two weeks

JOB EXPECTATIONS:

Watch for suspicious and irregular behavior at sites, such as security concerns, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.

Provide concierge customer service; should be a "people person", enthusiastic and friendly

Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security and policy violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate; may confront violators, as required.

Complete digital standardized reports.

Conduct periodic foot patrols in and around sites.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing.

Basic knowledge of computers.

Ability to walk and climb stairs.

Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.

Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.

Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.

Ability to complete detailed reports and submit them in a timely manner.

Ability to apply common sense and provided training while safely handling emergency situations.

Ability to learn the layout of the site and specific areas assigned.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 18 years of age.

Ability to pass a detailed background check - no felony charges OR convictions.

Customer-service oriented and friendly.

Ability to pay close attention to details.

Ability to embody company values as a highly visible representative of the company, peers, and client. Must set and maintain high standards for themselves and others.
