As a Security Officer - Front Desk Transportation in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a transportation-focused location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access with professionalism and care. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to inquiries while helping to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor interactions at the front desk.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address inquiries and/or concerns.
• Follow all company and client protocols to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• Corrections officer license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
