What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities within the healthcare environment, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or patients in a professional manner to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to support security-related operations and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
