As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol an education campus to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior and/or conditions within the education location.
• Assist visitors, students, faculty, and/or staff with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate written reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed while on patrol.
• Follow all post orders and Allied Universal guidelines relevant to the education location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
