As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in an educational environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational campus and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including suspicious activities or security-related hazards, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors by providing information and support as needed.
• Work collaboratively with school administration and/or local law enforcement as required by site-specific protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed written reports of incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
