As a Security Officer - Distribution Screening in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct screening of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site integrity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and report potential issues.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, supporting the logistics and distribution operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
