As a Security Officer - CRE Access Control Desk in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets and may respond to alarms as needed. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying identification and/or credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises according to company procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
