As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Unarmed in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a commercial real estate location. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for tenants and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property to identify and address potential issues while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor the location for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to site protocols.
• Work closely with building management and Allied Universal team members to address site-related needs and support a secure environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
• Assist with access control measures, including verifying credentials and greeting authorized personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience in access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
