What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies and/or engaging in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Operate as an armed security professional, remaining alert and prepared to respond to situations in accordance with established protocols.
• Document security-related activities and incidents thoroughly, ensuring clear and accurate reports are maintained.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support access control procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, providing relevant information and assistance.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment for all staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
