What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals entering or contacting the facility.
• Assist with security-related inquiries, directions, or information requests at the front desk.
• Support the overall security-related operations of the healthcare location by remaining alert and attentive to unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid New Jersey RPO certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
