About the Role

We are seeking a

professional and dependable Security Guard

to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff at a residential apartment complex in San Jose. The ideal candidate is observant, responsive, and capable of de-escalating conflicts while maintaining a calm, courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular

foot patrols and mobile patrols

of property grounds, buildings, and parking areas Monitor

security cameras

and access control systems Respond promptly to

emergencies, disturbances

, or suspicious activity Document

daily activity reports (DARs)

, incidents, and maintenance concerns Enforce

community rules

, including noise control and parking policies Provide professional

customer service

to residents, visitors, and staff Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed

Requirements

Valid

California BSIS Guard Card

(Required)

Powers to Arrest certificate

(8-hour course)

Drivers License and

clean drive record*
High school diploma or GED Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation to and from the site Prior experience in residential, retail, or property security preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
