Complies with all departmental and casino policies and procedures to ensure no disruption of business operations.
Immediately reports suspicious or unusual activities to proper department Supervisors, MOD, Casino Manager or the Director of Operations.
Ensures the safety of all guests (internal and external) is being adequately provided for.
Ensures all accident/incident reports are complete and accurately completed.
Ensures all guests, visitors and vendors are signing in and out, when warranted.
Monitors the opening and closing of machines for routine repairs and maintenance to ensure the integrity of the machine, when necessary.
Provides efficient coverage of premises; secures buildings and grounds, maintains desired public order to ensure the comfort and safety of the casino patrons, employees and protection of company assets.
Promptly engages, removes and escorts any and all unwanted items, guests and employees, as necessary.
Cooperates with Federal, State and local Law Enforcement agencies to ensure matters are being resolved in a timely manner.
Partners with and works with Surveillance department, when warranted.
Controls and defuses potential problems. Assists employees and guests in emergencies. Responds to all requests for emergency medical assistance, provides emergency care at the scene and utilizes necessary medical equipment to treat and ascertains the extent of injuries or illness.
Assists other departments with transportation of cash to Main Bank, as necessary.
Maintains key control by ensuring all keys are logged in and out that are assigned and returned by casino employees.
Performs all other duties as assigned
Training and Experience:
Six (6) months of Security experience in a casino gaming industry or related field, preferred.
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation of criminal and financial history to obtain a Gaming License from the Office of the Delaware Gaming Commission.
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
Must pass annual Title 31 exam.
