Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across an office building, warehouse facility, and surrounding parking areas. This position requires strong observational skills, consistent patrols, and the ability to deter unwanted activity on the property.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the office space, warehouse, and parking lot. Ensure all doors, gates, and access points are properly secured. Monitor for any suspicious behavior, disturbances, or unauthorized individuals on the property. Prevent trespassing, including ensuring that homeless individuals or unauthorized persons do not enter or remain on the site. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or emergency situations. Document all activities, incidents, and observations in detailed daily reports. Communicate effectively with on-site staff, management, and emergency personnel as needed. Enforce company policies and maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity. Maintain a professional appearance and customer-service-oriented approach at all times.

Qualifications

Valid California Guard Card (required). Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required. Ability to walk, stand, or patrol for extended periods. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or confrontational situations. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. Must pass a background check and meet company hiring standards.
