As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Logistics in Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and act as a reliable point of contact. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
