As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Site in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials and logging entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols.
• Communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal management and site representatives as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
